Harvested from slender tea bushes that grow naturally in the mountainous forests of West Georgia, far from civilization, with no human interaction. This type of tea is harvested only by hand, once a year, during the first leaf flush. The wild forests were created from old plantations abandoned at the fall of the Soviet Union. Nature took back its rights and created a unique ecosystem, the soil enriched by the forest and the mountain water. The tea plants grow naturally and slowly in the shade of large trees, giving this tea a unique aroma, characteristics and chemical composition absent from other teas due to the pigments of the forest.
Our opinion: light body and length in the mouth, multiple notes combining acacia honey, spices and astringency.
Rare ! For informed consumers.
